Above My Umbrella – ABA Therapy was founded with a deep passion for supporting children and families through meaningful, individualized care. Our journey began in pediatric healthcare and evolved into a commitment to the life-changing impact of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). With years of hands-on experience in both medical and behavioral health settings, our leadership brings a unique, compassionate perspective to ABA therapy—one that values cultural diversity, clinical integrity, and family collaboration. At the heart of our work is the belief that every child has the potential to grow beyond their diagnosis. By combining science-based strategies with empathetic, bilingual support, we aim to empower families and help children thrive across every stage of development.
President
Hi, I’m Yanet Perdomo Miranda, the founder of Above My Umbrella – ABA Therapy. My journey working with children began early on, during my time in medical school, where I earned my degree as a General Doctor. During the last three years of my medical career, I focused on a pediatric assistantship, which deepened my passion for helping children and supporting families through healthcare and developmental milestones.
After relocating and continuing my professional path in the United States, I spent three years working as a medical assistant in a pediatric office. It was during this time that I was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and saw firsthand how life-changing it could be. I knew this was where I belonged. I began my ABA journey as an RBT, and quickly fell in love with the science, structure, and—most of all—the joy of being part of a child’s growth and success story.
Now, with over seven years of experience in the ABA field and after working for several years as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), I knew it was time to take the next step and launch Above My Umbrella – ABA Therapy. Our goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate care—supported by the clinical oversight of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are committed to delivering individualized, in-home ABA services that prioritize the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each child. Our mission is to support families with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices, empowering every child to reach their fullest potential.
Clinical Oversight
Anses Ramos is a bilingual Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master of Science in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she brings a deep understanding of cultural diversity to her work and is proud to support families in both English and Spanish.
Anses began her journey in the field of ABA in 2018 and became a BCBA in 2021. Since then, she’s designed individualized, evidence-based intervention plans for individuals aged 1.5 to 24 years across Texas and California.
With her years of experience, Anses has developed a strong passion for early intervention and is known for her compassionate, client-centered approach. Her mission is to deliver culturally responsive care that empowers families and helps clients thrive across every stage of development.

Above My Umbrella – ABA Therapy is a newly established ABA therapy company founded with a clear purpose: to help children thrive by bringing out the very best in them. While we are a new company, we are built on years of experience, clinical passion, and the belief that every child has incredible potential—regardless of their diagnosis.
We are dedicated to helping children decrease challenging behaviors, increase meaningful, functional alternatives, and build skills that support independence and joy in everyday life. Just as importantly, we are here to support families—because understanding your child’s behavior is the first step in supporting their growth.
